N-Back
A visual N-back prototype for working-memory updating. Symbols stream one at a time across three blocks (1-, 2-, and 3-back). Each block reports hits, false alarms, d-prime, and response time.

Match the symbol from N steps back
Symbols appear one at a time. Respond only when the current symbol is the same as the one you saw a set number of steps earlier.
Three blocks get harder: 1-back (matches the one right before), then 2-back, then 3-back.
Press the spacebar or tap Match when it matches. Do nothing when it doesn’t.
