PrepJet EPPP Review 2026: Price, Free Trial, and Who It Fits

If you searched "PrepJet EPPP," you probably want three things: what it costs, whether the free trial is real, and whether it fits how you study. Short version. PrepJet runs $159 to $429 a month, has a free trial with no credit card, and is built for people who already know the content and want to drill the test. thePsychology.ai is $60 a month or $349 a year, also has a 7-day trial with no card, and teaches the content as well as the test.

Prices are from each site's homepage on September 4, 2026. PrepJet's lower per-month rates come with a 3-month or 6-month plan. In September 2026 its homepage is also running a 40% off code on Basic and Plus that ends September 30, so check the page, promotions change.

PrepJet's pricing block lists the same seven items under every tier: full-length exams, domain quizzes, a video library, instant search, custom exams, Dayan Edwards lectures, and coaching support. Which tier includes which is shown with check marks I could not confirm from the page code, so verify the inclusions on their pricing page before you pick a tier.

What PrepJet includes

From its homepage, September 2026:

• A diagnostic exam you can take inside the free trial. It produces a Readiness Score weighted to the exam specifications.
• Exams drawn from 1,500+ questions, domain quizzes with written rationales, and custom exams.
• Reading summaries you can highlight and annotate, plus instant search across topics.
• A video library of 100+ videos, and lectures by Dayan Edwards.
• Sub-domain drill-down that shows weak areas below the domain level.
• Free live coaching workshops, including one for Canadian candidates.
• Content updated for the 2025 exam changes, including telehealth.

PrepJet describes its approach in one line on its own site: "PrepJet doesn't teach psychology. We teach the test." It assumes you learned the content in grad school and focuses on how to take this particular exam.

Where PrepJet is strong

• Monthly billing. No four-figure upfront purchase, and you can stop when you pass.
• A Readiness Score and sub-domain drill-down. You get a clear read on where you stand and what to study next.
• Human coaching. Free workshops, and its testimonials describe direct coaching from the company's president.
• Video. If you learn by watching, PrepJet has a large library and lectures.

What users report

Reddit is thin on PrepJet, but not empty. From r/ClinicalPsychology and r/AcademicPsychology threads (linked in the sources below):

• One user who passed with PrepJet recommends the content summaries and watching all the lectures.
• One says their practice scores stayed low despite reading the material.
• One passed, but says they "did not pass comfortably."
• One reported practice scores around 80 before the exam and praised the customer service.

That is a mixed picture, which is normal for any prep program. Read the threads yourself before you weigh them.

Where thePsychology.ai is different

• Anxiety resets built into the study flow, because burnout is a real reason people underperform on this exam.
• A native iPhone app with synced progress.

Where we fall short. There is no human coach and no live workshop; the AI help is available at 2am, but it is not a person. We do not have video lectures. Android users get the mobile web app, not a native one. And we are newer than PrepJet, so the community is smaller.

Who should pick what

Pick PrepJet if you already know the content cold, want to drill the test with a Readiness Score, want human coaching and video lectures, and the $159 to $429 monthly price fits your budget.

Pick thePsychology.ai if you need the content taught as well as tested, want practice that targets your gaps, want a pass guarantee, and would rather pay $60 a month.
